Mr. Xing’s primary areas of practice include foreign-related commercial dispute resolution, intellectual property dispute resolution, and the broader entertainment industry.

Mr. Xing has devoted his career to international and foreign-related commercial arbitration, boasting nearly two decades of experience in dispute resolution across areas such as cross-border equity and debt financing, Sino-foreign joint ventures, corporate governance, intellectual property, and the entertainment sector. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, including media, entertainment, technology, telecommunications, the internet, sports, new energy, mining, pharmaceuticals, and real estate. Mr. Xing has represented and participated in over two hundred arbitration cases adjudicated by prestigious arbitration institutions both domestically and internationally, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Beijing Arbitration Commission, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). Some of these cases were marked by their complexity, difficulty, significant monetary value, or broad social impact, with several involving the application of foreign law, proceedings in English, or representing the first case of its kind for the involved arbitration institution. As an arbitrator, Mr. Xing has presided over a large number of arbitration cases, serving as the chief or sole arbitrator in over 80% of them.

Mr. Xing has also been involved in intellectual property transactions and litigation for numerous internationally renowned music companies, video game companies, luxury brands, software companies, publishers, and artists. Some of these projects were among the highest-value transactions in their respective sectors within the Chinese market for that year, and some litigation cases resulted in the maximum compensation awarded.

Mr. Xing is the founding partner of Yuanhe & Twelve Table and an of counsel of Jun Wang & Associates. Before establishing Yuanhe, he amassed extensive experience over many years at King & Wood Mallesons. As an accomplished arbitrator with the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Mr. Xing also holds a significant position as a member of the Beijing Dongcheng Youth Federation. His academic credentials are equally impressive; he earned his LL.B. from Nanjing University and further advanced his legal expertise with an LL.M. from the University of Southampton.
